Rapper Ice Spice never met a Y2K trend she didn’t love; she even named her forthcoming album Y2K after the late ‘90s-early ‘00s era. She frequently incorporates elements from the period into her red carpet looks, and her iHeart Radio Awards ‘fit was no exception.
For the awards show, the rapper hit the red carpet in an all black ensemble of a black satin mermaid skirt and teeny tiny sheer bra top worn underneath a textured black cropped jacket — a look that feels right at home in 2024, but would have looked great 20 years ago too. The bra top was a straight-across strapless bandeau style that exposed a hint of underboob.
Her signature bright orange hair was worn long, parted deeply to the side and styled in soft, subtle crimped waves, but it was her cheetah print duck-shaped nails that really brought home the ‘00s vibes. She frequently wears the chunky-tipped manicure style, and this set featured a sparkly base and super-pale pink tips dotted with an animal print pattern. (She’s also a big fan of leopard print, most notably wearing printed tights at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards.)
