In Challengers, Zendaya plays Tashi, a former tennis champ who becomes her husband’s coach, hence all the tennis-themed ‘fits. The two then end up in a love triangle with her ex, another tennis champ. Mike Faist and The Crown star Josh O’Connor play the men in her life.
We knew the looks would be good because it’s Roach and Zendaya, obviously, but we didn’t think they would be quite this much fun. Zendaya even wore three looks in one day in Paris, starting with the mod green and white checked Vuitton overcoat by Marc Jacobs from 2013, then a green pantsuit from Jacobs’s 1999 collection for the brand, then a white strapless custom Vuitton gown by current creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere.
We thought the Dune press tour was the ultimate achievement with its archival Mugler spotlight moment, but it looks like Challengers is coming for its trophy.
